13 monkeys latest victims of spate of British fires

Last month, an aardvark and four meerkats were killed in a fire at London Zoo.

On Sunday, 1,600 cars were destroyed in a massive blaze at a parking garage in Liverpool on the city’s waterfront. The fire led to the cancellation of an international horse show. No one was seriously injured. The cause of the fire is still not known.

And late last month, an aardvark and four meerkats were killed in a fire at London Zoo. The meerkats killed in the blaze were all brothers. They were called Robbie, Norman, Billy and Nigel. The cause of the fire there is also still under investigation.

Early indications are that other animals at the Woburn Safari Park were not injured. The safari park houses a wide variety of animals including elephants, lions and zebras.

In June, scores of people died after a huge fire broke out in the early morning hours at Grenfell Tower, a residential tower bock in west London. Flames quickly consumed the 24-storey building because it had an especially flammable exterior.
